'February Gold' is perhaps the most well known of the early-flowering daffodils, and is a medium-sized variety with rich yellow blooms. Some varieites have just a single flower per stem whilst others have clusters of flowers - there's a narcissus out there for everyone! An exceptionally beautiful selection, soft yellow cup, yellow swept back petals, sweetly scented, 15cm, rarely offered. Centres can be orange, yellow, lemon, white or even peachy pink depending on variety. Within its white petals is an open, ruffled yellow cup rather than the typical trumpet shape. Prevalent colours are all shades and tones of yellow, white, orange, pink, red and green. Late-flowering daffodils, or narcissi, come into flower at the end of April. Probably the finest of all the cyclamineus hybrids, excellent for pot culture or garden where it is equally long lived. While most daffodils in bloom at this time of year are usually small, this variety has large, windmill-style flowers and reaches 35cm in height.
